I have a B.F.A. from West Texas State University. I have taken workshops with Frank Webb, Marylin Hughey Phillis, Robert E. Wood, Mary DeLought-Arendt, Diane Maxey, and Skip Lawrence.

I have been a member of the following organizations; Arizona Art Guild, St. Louis Art Guild, Amarillo Fine Arts Association, Central Texas Watercolor Society, Waterloo Watercolor Group, and Williamson County Art Guild.

Shows and Awards include: Rio Bravo Watercolorists Tri State Aqua Media Exhibition, 1987; St Louis Art Guild Juried show; Arizona Art Guild juried show, Central Texas Watercolor Society juried show (Honorable Mention), Amarillo Art Association juried (Honorable Mention), Pampa Fine Arts Guest Artist, Red Poppy contest Winner, Georgetown, Texas.

My personal feeling about my art is that it is a process of problem making and problem solving. I love the challenge in each painting, and the growth that comes as a result.
