Jeanne Lubey has taught art at all age levels for 20 years. Landscapes are her specialty; however, presently she is painting family portraits.  Jeanne  teaches a beginner / intermediate class in oils 2 or 3 times each year.

Jeanne earned a Master degree in Art Education from Kutztown University (PA) at the age of 48. She taught art  as an elementary teacher and later  to college students at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. Jeanne was also an Art Education Consultant for public schools in Pennsylvania, New York, Illinois, Kansas, and Louisiana.

She works with students individually, explaining the techniques of painting as students work through their specific problems.  Students should expect to learn:  Compositional arrangements, color theory, aerial and linear perspective and brush stroke techiques.
