Pat was born and educated in Montreal, Quebec.  Drawing was always a hobby and after high school this love prompted her to study at “Studio 5316”, with the goal of becoming a Commercial Artist.   However, a job opportunity in technology led her in a different direction and art was put aside for the time being.

In later years, under the tutelage of Gerry at the Van Dyke Art Studio, Pat both studied and taught oil painting.  Occasional success and encouragement given by many teachers over the years fed the passion to create and grow both in style and medium.

Pat has participated in both juried and non-juried shows in Montreal, Belleville, Toronto and Texas.  Stimulated by the landscapes of northern Muskoka where she now lives, Pat continues to explore her love, working in both watercolour and acrylic.  Pat’s goal is to provide an interpretive perspective of realistic images by simplifying her design to illustrate a personal impression of basic elements found in nature.

Pat is a director on the board of HAC (Huntsville Art Crowd), a member of MAC (Arts Council of Muskoka), and a member of the Sun City Visual Arts Club in Georgetown, Texas.
