Lemley works in several media, including painting in oils, watercolor, acrylic, pastels and drawing in pencil and ink.  In all, natural forms appear as the main source of inspiration.  She developed from a childhood’s love of nature; the land, sky and water.  There has been a lifelong love of the landscape and the artist works in in close harmony with it.  She has traveled extensively throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, Europe, Australia and New Zealand, searching for creative sources.  Many of her works are in major private and corporate collections throughout of the United States,  Paris and France

To enhance her learning experiences, she did volunteer work in both elementary and high school grades teaching art and art history both in Port Arthur and Beaumont and the Art Museum of South East Texas, Beaumont.
