Barbara Wilder

My background in art began in painting with acrylics, life drawing and collage lessons.  I took pottery lessons which led to a thirty five year career as a potter.  For many years, my first husband and I traveled throughout the U.S. doing juried art shows and also having an arts & crafts gallery in our studio near Corpus Christi, TX.

After his death and my retirement from that field, I moved to Sun City full time in 2003, and eventually married an old friend and professional photographer, Roddy Wilder.  As a result I became more interested in photography and joined the Photography Club.  Favorite subjects are hiking trails in Sun City, nature, and people.
