Feature Artist Sandy Dolan

After 24 years of nursing in Staten Island, New York and Gainesville, Florida, Sandy and her husband, Bob moved to Sun City to be close to their children, Garrett in Katy, Allison and Betsy who live in Georgetown. She took her first class in oils, since college, in Sept of 2005 and hasn’t stopped painting and exploring new techniques. Sandy enjoys using colors and paint strokes to state her message. She is interested in transferring her nursing knowledge into artwork by telling stories of diseases. Sandy says that art feeds her soul. She is active in the VAC and is currently Chair of the Exhibition Committee.
