Feature Artist Trudy Loper

Trudy Loper, whose mother and grandmother were also artists, has always enjoyed making beautiful things. She earned her B.S. Interior Design at the Univ. of Texas, Austin. But as a stay-at-home homemaker and mom she did not pursue the Interior Design profession. While her sons were growing up, she renewed her interest in the Fine Arts, and began working in oils. After earning her M.S. degree in Art, in 1970, Trudy has continued to work in many media including Pottery, Oil, Acrylic, Pastel painting and Conte’ Drawing. Trudy has enjoyed teaching art for many years. Trudy is also our wonderful Librarian and a VAC Art Teacher.
