Feature Artist Jim Bilbro

Like many our age, Jim’s photography started as a way to chronicle his family’s celebrations and travels. It has evolved into a wider range of subjects and more emphasis on art through better composition and camera technique. He switched to digital photography in 2000 and it fits his career in engineering, then marketing and sales of technical products. He uses Photoshop for editing his photos to bring out the best story in each photo. Photoshop and digital cameras has led him into teaching classes in the Computer Club. He photographs a wide range of subjects and especially enjoys macro photography and the culture and art from his European travels.
